Andy Priest fan Anthony Covelli was "Student of the
week" in his first grade class at Union Elementary
this week. He was allowed to bring a special guest to
his class. He asked his Dad, Steve, if Andy could
come. Steve told him he didn't know, because
Andy was working out of town. So this morning, Andy
visited Miss Schmolly's First Grade Class at Union
Elementary. Anthony and the rest of the class was
completely surprised!

Andy talked with the children about safety and
showed them his helmet, fire suit, gloves, shoes, etc.
They also watched two videos together- one of Andy's
fiery sprint car crash and one of a modified victory
at Tri-City. The kids really loved it and asked lots
of great questions. Each child received a Priest
Racing trading card to take home.

Andy would like to thank Miss Schmolly and her First Grade
Class at Union Elementary for inviting him to visit
and talk about racing safety. Andy was a special
guest of Anthony Covelli, who was Student of the Week.
